With a vision of a daily radio talk show with the ability and resources to feature a variety of interviews that would showcase the local community events, news and weather, Donna Feazell launched “The Edge on April 25, 2005, in Calhoun County Alabama. Since inception the reality has grown to include city, county, state, national events and politics. This has also included singers/songwriters of Southern Gospel, Country Gospel, Blue Grass Gospel, Sacred Harp, Country, Jazz, Folk, Rock and more. It has been quite a ride but buckle up and hold on for the next chapter. The next chapter began January 1, 2021, with our new internet radio station. It is called IC RADIO. We are your source for the best gospel music to include Southern Gospel, Country Gospel as well as Bluegrass Gospel. We are Your Source for News & Entertainment. The show is now Nationally Syndicated. Now a new chapter began August 2023. After a lot of researching and talking with other successful talk show hosts, Donna changed the name of the show to Donna’s Edge. As Host of Donna’s Edge, I have been blessed to showcase awesome Guests as well as keep You updated on local events, news and weather and Sports. I think the success of any talk show is to allow the Guest to be the “Star” of the show. The effect of feeling like we’re in the living room of the Guest allows a calm, “we’re friends” feeling and that platform draws listeners. I mean, after a long day at work, you’re ready to listen to a down home, friendly voice, and I hope I do that for you. It’s my goal to let you be “ready” for your family and relax the rest of the night. That could be simply from hearing something that puts you in that kind of mood. Donna’s Edge Talk Show career began with friend Tom Williams who owned TV 24 in Jacksonville, AL. Tom took a chance and allowed me to “get my feet wet” in Television as Talk Show Host of “The Edge” and “In the Company of Women. Cathy Tillery and Rick Staines have also been featured Co Host throughout the years. Phil and I later relocated to Charlotte NC and I was Talk Show Host and Producer of “The Women’s Edge” on TV 21. My Co-Hosts Karlynn Walker and Natasha Hicks, both of Charlotte, NC brought a lot of fun and variety to the show. When my producer Husband Phillip Feazell retired from his position in Charlotte, NC, we decided to purchase the 38 acres farm my Grandparents, Scott and Sybil Bearden purchased in 1939. Donna’s Edge is all about “Truth” and you will find I’m a Conservative Political Activist. I interview from all over the country. Whether I agree or not, everyone has a voice, and my Viewers can choose who they support on their own. I also interview Authors, Speakers, Musicians and people with creative talents who need to showcase their talents to the world. We also feature shows about farming, living off the land and food preservation. Donna’s Edge airs on icradio.media and we are also featured on Charter Communications, Channel 182 in North Alabama.
