With a vision for a daily radio talk show that could spotlight community events, news, weather, and meaningful conversations,
Donna Feazell launched “The Edge” on April 25, 2005, in Calhoun County, Alabama.
What began as a local show quickly grew into a platform featuring city, county, state, and national topics — as well as interviews across musical genres including Southern Gospel, Country Gospel, Bluegrass,
Sacred Harp, Country, Jazz, Folk, and Rock.
The journey has been quite a ride, and the best is still ahead.
A New Chapter: Donna’s Edge Talk Show
In August 2023, after extensive research and conversations with seasoned broadcasters,
Donna rebranded her show as Donna’s Edge Talk Show. The new name reflects her voice, her mission, and her commitment to truth-driven, authentic conversation.
Today, Donna’s Edge Talk Show is nationally syndicated, reaching audiences across multiple platforms while continuing to highlight the stories and people that matter most.
Donna’s Philosophy
Donna believes the success of any talk show starts with allowing the guest to be the star.
Her conversational style creates a comfortable, living-room feel that welcomes viewers and puts guests at ease.
After a long day, viewers want a friendly, familiar voice — and Donna works to create that comforting,
down-home atmosphere that helps people unwind, stay informed, and feel uplifted.
Television Career
Donna’s television career began when her friend Tom Williams, owner of TV 24 in Jacksonville, Alabama, gave her the opportunity to host and explore broadcast television through The Edge and
In the Company of Women.
Throughout the years, Cathy Tillery and Rick Staines contributed as featured co-hosts.
Donna later moved with her husband and producer Phillip Feazell to Charlotte, North Carolina,
where she hosted and produced The Women’s Edge on TV 21 alongside co-hosts
Karlynn Walker and Natasha Hicks.
After Phillip retired, they returned home and purchased the 38-acre farm originally owned by
Donna’s grandparents, Scott and Sybil Bearden, purchased in 1939.
What Donna’s Edge Talk Show Stands For
Donna proudly identifies as a Conservative Political Activist, and her show is grounded in one core principle:
Truth.
She interviews guests from all over the country — authors, speakers, musicians, political voices,
and everyday Americans with stories and talents to share. Whether she agrees with them or not,
Donna believes everyone deserves a voice, and her viewers can decide for themselves whom they support.
Donna’s Edge Talk Show also features content on farming, homesteading, food preservation,
and living off the land, reflecting Donna’s love for rural life and self-reliance.
